A Word From Founder:

Hello, my name is Sherida Hines, and I am Erica’s little sister. One of the things I loved most about my sister is that we shared the same heart,a heart for giving, serving, and helping others. Whether it was supporting the homeless, assisting families in need, or helping people find resources for healthcare and everyday living, we always believed in being givers more than receivers.

After my sister passed away, I made a promise that I would carry not only my heart, but hers as well. That promise became Erica’s Heart. For years, we have served without recognition, applause, or a platform because our mission has never been about attention...it has always been about love. We serve because we care.

Through Erica’s Heart, we continue to support the homeless, the displaced, struggling families, and individuals seeking guidance and resources. Whether it’s food, shelter assistance, healthcare information, childcare resources, educational opportunities, or simply connecting people with the help they need, we are committed to reaching those we can reach.

I used to jokingly call my sister “the coupon lady” because if there was a deal to be found, she would find it. Today, that same spirit lives on through our team as we work to help individuals and families access valuable resources and support.
